A register of land communities is published on the internet. This makes it easy for citizens and officials to find out what land a particular community manages.
Previously, this had to be laboriously checked with the district office, or directly with the chairman of the community, or with a member of the committee.

What data does the register contain?
In the register of land communities you can find:
- persons who are members of community bodies,
- title deeds with the land managed by the community,
- community address,
- other data.
Entries in the register of land communities and the storage of documents in the register are governed by the Land Communities Act.
The district office in whose territorial district the common property or jointly managed property is located is locally competent to enter the register. If the local jurisdiction cannot be determined in this way, the district office in whose territorial area the largest part of the common property or jointly managed property is located by area shall be locally competent. The district office which registered the community shall have local jurisdiction to enter changes in the register and to register the dissolution of the community.
